Transition towards circular supplier selection in petrochemical industry: A hybrid approach to achieve sustainable development goals

In view of controversial environmental issues and increased public awareness, companies are increasingly under pressure from their beneficiaries governments to become environmentally friendly. These competitive conditions have led emphasize green practices in daily operations, a critical aspect operations involves the selection circular suppliers for collaboration. this paper, novel approach is developed by integrating multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods fuzzy inference system (FIS) evaluate rank towards transition supply chain. proposed approach, weights sub-criteria determined based on analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) method and, then, score each supplier terms criterion calculated technique order preference similarity ideal solution (FTOPSIS).
